How this coin was brought to life
The PXFD — Bomb Rider coin was drawn from scratch, sculpted as a 3D model, and struck for Pantex Fire Dept. · PXFD. Polished silver, glow-in-the-dark enamel, hard enamel, custom Maltese cut carries the artwork at 2.5 in · 3 mm thick, with tooling proofed against the unit's own insignia before the dies were cut. It is the same custom challenge coin manufacturing route we run for military units, fire departments, EMS crews, law enforcement teams, and federal programs — 3D textured molding, hard enamel color fills, and a maltese cross cut finished to hold detail in the hand.
A Maltese-cross cut coin for Pantex Fire Dept. The front rides a skull-faced bomber in turnout gear astride a falling bomb — Texas-flag tail fin, radiation trefoil, and a blast of glow-in-the-dark flame enamel that charges in the light and burns after dark. The reverse is the classic Pantex Maltese in red and silver: atomic emblem over PROTECTING OUR NATION'S NUCLEAR ASSETS with RESCUE, HAZMAT, and FIRE on the arms and EST. 1951 below.
